Built in 2011, the Koke washing station is a family owned operation in the Gedeo zone of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Koke processed coffees from 96 small holder farmers in the region, many of which are families who have been farming coffee for generations.
These coffees are all Ethiopian heirloom varieties, grown between 1880-2200 meters above sea level. When processed as Naturals (fruit skin on throughout drying) the coffees showcase a range of flavors including tropical fruit, strawberries, and grapes, with lots of floral notes.
Royal Coffee NY brought this coffee in to the states and we're stoked to share it with you!
