Mike Mamo and other producers from the Yukro kebele (Ethiopian neighborhood) process this deliciously clean JARC 74112 varietal grown at 2000 meters above sea level in Kecho Anderacha, Gera, Jimma.

Mike and his team wash their coffee at their privately owned Telila washing station in Western Ethiopia. This station is unique in that it is one of the few in Ethiopia to separate incoming coffees by kebele. Ethiopian coffees brought into washing stations are often sorted by processing method and named after the washing station from which they came. Coffees from Telila, however, can be further traced back to their neighborhoods.

Purchased in 2019, the Telila washing station is hyper-focused on quality control and experimentation producing some of the cleanest washed coffees while also producing honey, natural, and anaerobic natural lots.

This coffee is imported by our friends at Osito Coffee, who adds a 10¢ donation to every pound of coffee purchased from the Telila washing station toward much needed projects at the Kacho Tulla Primary School nearby.

We taste citrus, wafer cookie, and caramel!
