Our latest decaffeinated coffee, named Desvelado, comes from Tolima, Colombia. Its Spanish translation to "Sleepless" suggests you don't have to sacrifice flavor or complexity if you find yourself too jazzed!
It is washed processed and consists of Colombia and Caturra varietals grown between 1450 and 1700 meters above sea level. The caffeine is removed using ethyl acetate (often abbreviated to EA), a byproduct of processing sugar cane. EA is a natural solvent of caffeine used to retain the quality of coffee seeds.
