The return of the crowd pleaser!

Weder Batista inherited his late father's farm in South of Minas Gerais in 2016. Despite having no experience in the specialty coffee industry, he decided to take his commodity coffee farming experience, passion to continually learn, perfect growing climate, and incredible team to produce great coffee!

Weder and his partner, brother-in-law Ivan Prado de Melo, run the 15 hectare farm along with their families and a staff of between 2 and 25 employees, depending on the time of the harvest season. They produce mainly Topazio, Yellow Catuaí, and Yellow Catucaí, but aim to grow Geisha as well, when the weather conditions will be more favorable. They are proud to say that all of the coffee they produce is 100% natural.

They work hard to invest in research and expansion while keeping sustainability at the forefront. They use organic minerals in their practices and avoid chemical fertilizers to prevent soil erosion. They constantly adopt new sustainable practices in order to nurture a healthy dependability on the environment.

This naturally processed Yellow Catuaí is harvested directly from fields to a suspended terrace to rest and dry for 50 days. You can find notes of tropical fruit, effervescent white grape, and sweet cane sugar!
