Since its inception in 1903, Ginimao has maintained its balance of tradition and innovation. With over a century of experience, they progress in their processing by pioneering methods such as the use of a biogas digester to treat wastewater. Benefiting from a surplus of rainfall and red, loamy soil, their coffee yields distinct character.
Stephen Rebello is committed to the preservation of the delicate biodiversity of the Western Ghats mountain range. As an early member of the KaadKaapi Collective, the estate adheres to strict guidelines to enforce wildlife conservation efforts such as maintaining dense canopy cover to protect a diverse array of species. The estate is a leader by using coffee cultivation as a vehicle toward environmental sustainability in one of the world's most biologically diverse regions.
