We love to keep things feeling fresh while bringing bangers that we know you'll love. That's why we're excited to bring coffee from the newer-to-us region of Mount Elgon, Uganda via Osito. They are working alongside Cahoot's Coffee for their second year of operation!

Benjamin Jenkin is the founder behind Cahoots, but emphasizes that his goal is to uplift the farmers and staff who tirelessly work through any given challenges that may arise. During this harvest the team worked through two large hurdles: cherry prices skyrocketing and environmental challenges.

Recent unpredictable weather and limited drying space have caused setbacks during the season, but the team diligently worked to transport the beans while maintaining consistent quality in the coffee.

Their passion for coffee does not go unnoticed as the team works at 1,870 masl to pulp and then ferment the coffee under water for 18 hours, wash, and then transport to drying sites. The outcome is clean, well-dried coffee that tastes like a true labor of love.

This coffee is a clean balance of sweet Peach, citrus components mimicking Orange, and Chamomile to bring everything together into a beautiful cup of coffee.
